Tip: Chop 5/6 stigmas per person, place them in a cup together with very hot water / milk / broth. Cover and keep warm - the water will slowly turn orange. Leave to infuse from 20/30 minutes up to 2/3 hours. Pour the infusion into the recipe, preferably at the end of cooking, so as not to make the spice lose its properties.
