Quality and seriousness

My name is Riccardo Moschino, I graduated as an agricultural expert at the ITGA “Carlo-Scarpa” technical institute and I am the author of the book “AEROSPACE CULTIVATION”.

After years of studies, evaluations and research in the agricultural, agri-food and agro-industrial technological sector, I developed the idea of producing a product with the aim of preserving the ecosystem and the floral and faunal biodiversity. My project is to create two models of organic / synergistic and hydroponic agriculture.

This model will help me in the goal of conserving the ecosystem of the territory but, in what way? Synergistic agriculture is a specialization of the biological system, with something more ... as if we were 200-300 years ago. Such a difficult and different decision than usual as this system will give the possibility to renew not only conventional or traditional agriculture but also organic agriculture. Those who buy this product will have something unique in their hands, that is, we would have what we would consume without damaging the ecosystem: plants, animals, bacteria and microorganisms. Indeed, they will serve to improve us and the whole ecosystem.

For too long we have exploited and consumed the territory to our liking, destroying the countryside with tractors and intensive processing, we have used harmful substances in crops thus damaging not only the ecosystem and biodiversity but also our organism; all this has polluted the plants that supply us with the raw material, also contributing to soil erosion (the erosion of agricultural soil has serious environmental and economic consequences: the disappearance of the surface layers of the soil, the richest in nutrients and not for lastly, the absorption of water by the soil thus avoiding the risk of flooding).

From here I realize that something needs to be changed and I want to take the first step on a productive level, I want to say enough of all this with one sentence: Where would we be in 100 years, what will happen to our loved ones, our children !? This pushes me to believe in this method, but how? By making it clear that we can and will still be able to use what we have at our disposal even without damaging it, don't be selfish with us and the ecosystem.

My reality brings into play the potential of the biological / synergistic and hydroponic world, for the reasons mentioned above. The founders of permaculture Bill Mollison and David Holmgren stated << Permaculture is a set of practices aimed at designing and managing man-made landscapes that meet the needs of the population such as food, fibers and energy and at the same time present the resilience, wealth and stability of ecosystems natural. The concept of permaculture has been developed since the seventies by Bill Mollison and David Holmgren drawing from various areas such as architecture, biology, forestry, agriculture and animal husbandry >> It is the basis of synergistic agriculture which aims to produce without damaging the environment. By now, in the 21st century, we are used to working the land with tractors, weeding, poisons or other chemicals. By using synergistic agriculture we not only protect the ecosystem that surrounds us but also the consumers.

My choice to change this vision of agriculture is to give the consumer a quality, sustainable, healthy and genuine product.

Many companies offer a final product without explaining how it is grown, I think this is not good especially in the cultivation phase, my company offers a product to the consumer with the knowledge of the entire production phase.

The Moschino Riccardo farm aims at transparency and communication of the entire agro-food chain for the benefit of the consumer, who must be aware of what he feeds.
